My honey stopped to grab some cash out of an ATM and stumbled across one of the best holes in the wall we have ever come across. I can't tell you anything about the inside of the establishment but I what I can tell you is that this one place has a bunch of heart based on the food! The catfish was phenomenal and fresh, the beans had a ton of flavor and chunks of turkey neck inside of it, I could tell the Cole slaw and tartar sauce was made in house but if it is not I need a container of each asap, I also can't forget about the hush puppies, most of the time I look over them but given everything else I couldn't miss out and they did not disappoint crunchy and flakey on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. We also got the "bobcat egg" chicken stuffed with jalapeños, cream cheese wrapped in bacon .. it was AMAZING!! They also had chicken on a stick wrapped in bacon and it was nothing short of everything else!! When I tell you I couldn't write this review quick enough I mean I am still licking the flavor off my teeth it was sensational!! You will not be disappointed i promise!! I can't wait to come back and try some deserts!! 10/10 well done Tabs, a hidden gem!!

Just go get one of their half pound hamburgers....cooked to perfection on a flat top griddle. You won't be disappointed. The only concern may be whether you can eat it all. Oh, and ask about their homemade pies. Wow! I'm a regular customer, and can definitely recommend them for a great meal. Just look at the attached menu for all you can get there. It may look like a gas convenience store from the outside, but the inside is an old fashioned country restaurant.

We ate at Tabs Sunday after church . Scott and I both had chicken and dressing. It was very good!! I had sweet potatoes with mine and he got mashed potatoes . Both great !

Good breakfast. But the burgers are even better. Also, a friend had them smoke the turkey that he brought to Thanksgiving dinner and it was the juiciest I've had in years.

The best place in town! Has great food and the desserts are even better! Beautiful cakes and pies! The cashiers are always so helpful and friendly. It may look like just an ordinary gas station, but trust me, it's so much more. Would recommend to any and everyone!

Really nice little store. Yes, it's a convenience store, but they have some really good food available. The usual fare of corn dogs & fried chicken is there, but they have some great options straight off the smoker. My favorite: the Bobcat egg. It's a jalapeño wrapped in a chicken breast, then wrapped in bacon & smoked. Delicious. They also have a huge assortment of desserts; pies, cakes, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, and fresh dipped ice cream. Prices are a bit higher than usual convenience store fare, but so is the quality.

My mother is in the hospital in Hope and Tab's is right next door. It seems like nothing more than a convenience store, what is inside is truly surprising. First visit I tried the catfish, chicken livers and gizzards (not regularly on my menu) but they were all delicious. Second visit I had the pork ribs and my sister had the smoked chicken, once again, both excellent. They have lots of other interesting things, most notably beautiful cakes and pies, including cupcakes and fried pies. I tried the pecan pie, also very good. I really recommend this place. Ambiance is lacking, but the God is great. Worth a stop.

Tab's smoked our turkey for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. The turkey had a wonderful smoky flavor and it was the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend you allow Tab's to smoke your next turkey if you are in the area.
